Peter Khalil MP
Federal Member for Wills

Today I am announcing that four local schools in Wills will benefit from a share of $32 million in grants to upgrade school infrastructure and equipment.

The following local schools will benefit from funding:

•    $25,000 for Brunswick South West Primary School for building new outdoor learning spaces
•    $25,000 for Brunswick Secondary College    for building new outdoor learning spaces
•    $25,0000 for Sydney Road Community School for refurbishing classrooms
•    $18,981 for Darul Ulum College of Victoria for purchasing and installing air purifiers

The funding is part of a $250 million commitment to improve school infrastructure.

All schools across the country were invited to apply for the funding and projects were assessed by the Department of Education and selected based on need.

Schools were able to apply for grants of up to $25,000 to support much needed improvements to facilities and learning environments.

The Albanese Labor Government is delivering on our promise to invest in our schools and there is more to come.
